Lin Fan was a modern-day office drone crushed by KPIs, until he finally died from working overtime. He closed his eyes and opened them again to find that his soul had transmigrated into a cultivation world where the strong preyed on the weak.
Before he could even adjust to his new surroundings, he realized he seemed to have been handed the wrong script. The fundamental “runes” that others struggled to sense and draw had already formed a self-contained universe inside him, circulating without end. From the start, he had reached the legendary [All-Knowing, All-Rune] realm, and his power was so great that even he was afraid of it!
He wanted to hide his strength, find an immortal sect to “clock in at,” and live out the rest of his days in peace. Unfortunately, trouble never waited for an invitation. A bully who tormented his fellow disciples? Erased to dust with a single thought. A sect genius who looked down on everyone? Slapped into the ground. A holy land’s founder, who had been in seclusion for a thousand years? His aura descended, only to be crushed flat, his Dao heart shattered. Even a demon god who crossed worlds was glared into nothingness for trampling a few of his vegetable seedlings...
As the Myriad Worlds showered Lin Fan with titles like “Supreme Divine Emperor” and powerful figures from every faction knelt outside his sect gate, he was on the verge of a breakdown. “I just want to clock out on time and have weekends off! This invincible power that can destroy the heavens and earth at the drop of a hat is completely out of my control! Is it really so hard to find a job?!”…
A wage earner just traveled back in time. The first few chapters were scary to death and full of human flavor, but then he turned into an emotionless observer without any foreshadowing. The main character was boring to read, so I was also bored to read it.
