The Little Taoist's Descent from the Mountain: Catching Ghosts, Healing Illnesses, and Raising Adorable Kids

At the summit of Kunlun, in the Xuanqing Temple, an infant changed his fate.

Fifteen-year-old young Taoist Ji Xianfeng was forced to leave the mountain and venture into the city to earn “formula money” for his junior sister. But he soon discovered that he had entered a world far more strange and sinister than anything in the Taoist scriptures:

A vengeful spirit in white haunting an old school building, an ancient soul weeping in a tomb late at night in a hospital, a young man pretending to be a ghost in a wealthy family’s mansion…

With a ringing bell and talismans in hand, he unraveled one crisis after another, believing it was nothing more than a trial in the mortal world.

Until the day he returned. The infant in his arms, named “Yunbao,” babbled her first “senior brother.” Golden light swirled in her eyes, and talismanic power arose of its own accord.

His master sighed softly. “Heaven’s mandate has been revealed. Turmoil is on the way.”

She was only seven days old, yet had already foreseen the chaos to come;

At just fifteen, he would have to brave the mortal world for her and once again subdue ghosts and gods.
