Hong Kong's Police King: From Beat Cop to Chief

Hong Kong movie buff Li Yaozu transmigrates by accident and discovers he has landed in a bizarre world that blends the classic Hong Kong police and crime films of the 1980s and 1990s: Hong Kong Island! He is no longer a viewer, but a hot-blooded police sergeant at Yau Ma Tei Police Station, as well as the partner and old friend of the reckless Chen Jiaju. Fortunately, he is bestowed with the Police Emperor System, which lets him copy skills, exchange points for advanced technology, and grow stronger through draws. But every step forward must be earned amid flashing blades and gunfire. He solves bizarre cases, captures ruthless criminals, humiliates villains, and wins the hearts of beautiful women, fighting his way from Western District to Central, rising from sergeant to chief inspector and then to the highest post held by a Chinese officer!

There is brotherhood, romance, explosive shootouts, and battles of wits against conspiracies. Watch Li Yaozu use his knowledge of the future to act decisively and plan each step in a world of Hong Kong crime films whose plots keep veering off course, until he becomes the leader of Hong Kong Island’s thirty thousand police officers: the top man in the force!

(The heroines are from various classic Hong Kong movies. Relationships develop gradually, and this is not a mindless harem.)
