[Proud, forceful princess vs. cool and reserved childhood friend]
|Love by force × winning her back × secret-identity reveal
Li Changyu, the most exalted princess in the realm and the empress's sharpest blade, has only two obsessions in life: power, and her.
After that hurried kiss in the shadows at a palace banquet two years ago, that woman dared to leave without a word and vanished without a trace.
Two years later, Li Changyu finally gets word of her. She travels a hundred miles to the Bai residence in Yunling, pins her against a corridor pillar, and narrows her phoenix eyes.
“Lin Yixi, it's been two years. You've gotten bold.”
Lin Yixi, a surviving scion of the previous dynasty burdened with a blood feud, has only two wishes in life: to stay alive, and to keep her distance from Li Changyu.
Taking another woman's identity and hiding among ordinary folk, she thought she could live in peace.
Until that proud, powerful figure keeps forcing her way into her life, shattering every bit of her calm.
But in the end, all she can do is look at the woman before her and say, her heart breaking, “Li Changyu, I'm sorry.”
[Reading Guide]
◆ One-on-one romance, happy ending, both leads devoted only to each other, fictional setting, no need to nitpick historical accuracy
◆ Proud, forceful princess pursuer × outwardly gentle but inwardly strong and patient pursued
They stand on opposing sides, caught between love and hate, with both sweetness and heartbreak.
Very nice!! It is my favorite kind of emotional drama. Although it is said to be "taking by force", the one who is taken away is half-hearted, and Yixi obviously loves the princess very much. I originally thought it would be a bit of a shameless thing, but judging from the current plot, the princess already knows it. Now I am looking forward to the next development of the plot!! My only wish is to have more❤️❤️
The writing is very good! Definitely a masterpiece!
So pretty, so sweet, so sweet
It's really good to watch. The plot is very rigorous and not mindless. It's really easy to knock, who knows?
The writing is pretty good. It's the best Tomato writing.
