Master, Have I Stolen Your Heart?

When he wakes up, modern young man Shen Yunchu finds himself not only a lowly rogue cultivator in the cultivation world, but also bound to a stingy and bizarre “Supreme Golden Core System.” To obtain the peerless reward that can help him form a golden core, the “Nine-Turn Core-Nurturing Marrow,” he is forced to venture deep into the Qingxu Mountains to seek out and take on a target with “peerless talent.”

By a mountain stream, he finds the cold and proud young man Luo Tingyu, badly injured and dressed in rags, yet still strikingly beautiful. When it seems impossible to take him as a disciple “the normal way,” Shen Yunchu has a flash of inspiration and successfully “lures” him with the irresistible aroma of a bucket of modern instant noodles flavored with braised beef. The System recognizes the task as complete, sealing a compulsory master-disciple contract.

From then on, Shen Yunchu begins raising a child while playing both father and mother. He wears the same magical robe for three years, yet spends his best spirit stones and pills on his disciple. He fusses over Luo Tingyu every day, boasting to anyone who will listen: “Look at my kid, handsome and tough!” Over three years, master and disciple rely on each other through a simple but warm daily life. Shen Yunchu's wholehearted care gradually melts Luo Tingyu's initial icy wariness, until the boy comes to trust and depend on him.
