Seer: I'm Blake, Let the Demons Rise Again

Black and Kaxi: a pure-love romance.

Black sat inside, lost in thought as he looked back on the past and the present. Then he made a vow: “I, Black, will make the Demon Spirit Clan great again!”

The invisible Kaxi murmured, “Kaxi will always believe in the young master's. One day, the fallen Demon Spirit Clan will rise again because of you.”

A few days earlier,

Simaodi had said, “Dear nephew, do you want a wife? If you do, I'll send one over.”

Black thought Simaodi was just teasing him, so he smiled instinctively and replied, “What a strange thing to ask. Who puts it like that?”

Simaodi took a step forward and stopped in the middle of the room, gesturing with both hands as his excitement grew. “I'm not joking! Just say the word, and I'll have her here in no time!”

As if playing along with Simaodi's farce, Black said, “Then go ahead and send her over.” He was sure Simaodi had heard some ridiculous rumor again and was deliberately messing with him.

But Simaodi slapped his thigh and pointed excitedly at Black. “A promise is a promise! You can't take it back!” He looked as if he'd just struck the deal of a lifetime.

Only then did Black realize Simaodi wasn't joking. He was about to ask more, but Simaodi had already turned and dashed out of the room, calling, “Wait here! I'll bring her over right away!”

Kaxi glided into the room, the blue-green energy whip in her hand flicking through the air with a faint swish. She gave Black a slight bow. “Hello, Young Master. Kaxi has always believed that the fallen Demon Spirit Clan will rise to greatness again because of you!”
