He is the “deserter” mocked by the entire military, and also the “Phantom Blade” who makes the world tremble.
Lin Yuan was the champion of the military district’s martial arts competition, with a bright future ahead of him. But after offending the powerful, he was sent by a mere transfer order to a godforsaken border outpost, where he became a “useless blade” everyone could bully.
Then one day, foreign mercenaries trampled the peace of the border, unleashing a massacre long in the making!
Ammunition exhausted, comrades on the brink of death, communications cut off... Lin Yuan, riddled with bullets, collapsed in a pool of blood as his consciousness began to fade.
At that moment of utter despair, a cold voice rang out in his mind:
[Battlefield God of War Experience System activated!]
First experience: God of Slaughter, Bai Qi! Loading...
When he opened his eyes again, they were blood-red, and his blood was like molten lava!
Modern tactics? Military skills? No. What he awakened was the killing instinct engraved in the deepest layer of human genes!
From that day on, the disgraced border soldier embarked on a path of vengeance through blood and an end to violence through slaughter!
Bai Qi’s art of killing with cold weapons! Huo Qubing’s instinct for lightning raids across a thousand miles! The modern champion soldier’s extreme combat skills! The future warrior’s battlefield information processing...
With every experience, he absorbs the peak skills of every God of War throughout history, from China and beyond!
He turns the tables at the outpost, stuns the world in military exercises, and makes his name known abroad. “Phantom Blade” becomes every enemy’s nightmare!
Yet his old enemies still occupy lofty positions, launching one covert attack after another;
The powerful enemies abroad watch like hawks, laying a vast, inescapable net;
Even the System within him seems to conceal a deeper secret...
“Today, we settle who is superior, and decide who lives or dies.”
Watch as this once-disgraced soldier wields a bloodied blade and forges his own legend as a God of War in a purgatory of blood and fire!
