The Puppyish Heartthrob Spoils His Sweet Wife, Whom He Found by the Trash

On a rainy night in late autumn, Yang Qiuyu is thrown out of her home by her stepmother and stepsister, and left beside a trash can on Heping Road in Qing City.

After her father dies, she becomes an unwanted burden in the family and is forced to marry a greasy, lecherous old man thirty years her senior.

Soaked to the bone, freezing and starving, she is unexpectedly rescued by Lu Zuo, who is driving a Hongqi sedan.

Lu Zuo is the true power behind the Lu Group. He seems carefree and unruly, yet he takes Yang Qiuyu home and is both strict and doting toward her.

Yang Qiuyu cautiously thinks of herself as his “housekeeper,” but little by little, Lu Zuo's tenderness helps her let down her guard.

But their happiness doesn't last. Shen Cuilan uses the only photo of Yang Qiuyu's parents to threaten her, forcing her to return home to prepare for marriage. She confiscates Yang Qiuyu's phone and holds her captive.

An accidental encounter that begins “beside a trash can,” and a rescue from family oppression and a scumbag's schemes:

Can Lu Zuo protect Yang Qiuyu and help her break free?

Faced with Liu Xiangzhu's vile deeds and the Shen family's greed, how will the two fight back together?

From clinging to each other in desperation to standing firmly by one another, this chance encounter will ultimately bloom into a warm flower amid the storm.
