Synopsis of Reborn: The Path to Defying Heaven with the Profound Bone

Xiao Cha, known as the Profound Bone Master, was a Nascent Soul-stage demonic cultivator. Betrayed by his most trusted disciple, Patriarch Jiyin, and besieged by outside enemies, he lost all his cultivation and was sealed away on a deserted island in the Chaotic Star Sea. On the brink of death, he stumbled upon a secret cave once used by the ancient demonic cultivator Bone Venerable. There, he learned the Profound Bone Soul Refining Art and obtained the first Bone Venerable Token, setting out on a path to rise again from the depths of despair.
After breaking free from the island, he used bone fiend energy to ambush Jiyin Sect pursuers. On Withered Bone Island, he braved the Blood Crow Formation and encountered his old friend, True Immortal Qingxuan, before narrowly obtaining the second Bone Venerable Token. He ventured deep into the Soul-Burying Abyss, fought through hordes of corpses and battled a remnant-soul monstrosity. After collecting all three tokens, he opened the Myriad Bone Cavern, only to face an attempt by Bone Venerable’s remnant soul to possess him. In the end, he fused with the remnant soul through his unyielding desire for revenge, learned the complete Myriad Bones Immortal Art, and broke through to the Deity Transformation stage.
His quest for vengeance led him to kill Patriarch Jiyin, but that drew a coalition of orthodox sects led by the Qingxu Sect to hunt him down. Relying on his life-bound magical treasure, the Myriad Bone Boat, and the Nine Netherworld Bone Formation, he defeated powerful foes at the bottom of the Soul-Burying Abyss. He also exposed the orthodox sects’ despicable practice of using ordinary people as hostages, causing the Dao Alliance to split apart. Later, he entered the Blood Fiend Secret Realm to find a Blood Fiend Lotus and killed the mastermind, True Man Black Fiend. By chance, he discovered a secret left behind by Bone Venerable: the seal on the extraterrestrial evil race was about to break, and the cultivation world faced annihilation.
From then on, Xiao Cha’s path of revenge became a path to save the world. He set aside some of his grudges and formed a temporary alliance with the Qingxu Sect, with each side searching for one of the two things needed to reinforce the seal: the Spirit of the Righteous Path and the Core of the Demonic Path. Once regarded as a fiend, he now bears the responsibility of protecting the cultivation world. Amid the clash between good and evil and the encroaching threat of the evil race, he uses Bone Venerable’s legacy to forge a path of his own against the heavens.
