Apocalypse: Reborn and Stockpiled, I Helped My Country Win Without Lifting a Finger

In June 2023, Lin Yue jolted awake from a nightmare of the third year of the apocalypse. The warmth of Bai Ling’s hand still lingered in his palm from the moment before she died. He had been reborn, with just 365 days left before an asteroid struck the Pacific Ocean. After unexpectedly awakening the powers of an “infinite survival-item storage space” and “five-kilometer teleportation,” he promptly sold off three school-district apartments in Beijing and launched a global “zero-dollar shopping spree”: he took 15,000 M4 rifles from Fort Irwin, cleared out 20,000 beef cattle from a California ranch, drained 8,000 cubic kilometers of fresh water from Lake Superior, and even carted off 2,800 luxury items from Christie’s in London and 100 T-90 tanks from Russia. He traded his hundred-billion-yuan fortune for a space packed with supplies and built a radiation-resistant fortress on Qinglong Mountain. There, he unexpectedly reunited with Bai Ling, the pediatrician he had regretted losing in his previous life. He rescued Qin Lan, a businesswoman besieged by her enemies, Shen Ruoxi, a star who sprained her ankle while filming a variety show, and Lin Xiaoxiao, a little girl from his old neighborhood. When he revealed to everyone a stockpile of supplies enough to sustain eight billion people for 15 years, a special government agency came knocking, while the whole world was rocked by the mysterious disappearance of supplies.

The apocalypse arrived. Tsunamis swallowed cities, volcanic ash blotted out the sun, and supernova radiation ravaged the earth. Lin Yue opened the fortress gates, using the weapons in his storage space to fight mutated creatures and food to save starving refugees. He even provided production lines to help rebuild the world. From a reborn man stockpiling supplies on his own to the “savior” who led humanity through the apocalypse, he finally stood on the fortress roof on the night of the fifth year with Bai Ling, Qin Lan, and the others, watching the lights of a new Beijing come back on.
