Good Boy, Grandma Knew You’d Come

The System told me to lay the spirit of the old lady next door to rest at midnight. I climbed over the wall with a peachwood sword, only to see her smiling and beckoning to me by candlelight.

“Good grandson, Grandma knew you’d come.”

The System’s warning suddenly rang out behind me: “Warning! Target resentment level: 999. Immediate exorcism by force recommended!”

The old lady sighed. “That thing on you has given you another task, hasn’t it?”
