A Funeral for the Living

The heated brick bed in Old Master Liu's house collapsed, revealing a terrifying secret and legend buried in the pit beneath it.

I was chosen by that terrifying legend. To stay alive, I had to fake my death and flee, study the occult arts, and even stake my life against the Impermanence spirits.

To save someone, I fought bitterly with the legendary Weaver Girl at Laoniu Bay. To survive, I battled the Silver Corpse on the banks of the River of Forgetfulness, refusing to die.

When the City of the Wrongfully Dead fell into rebellion, I was caught in a whirlpool of conspiracy. Amid death and betrayal, I fought against the Heavenly Dao for my life.
