He Said, 'The Willing Take the Bait'

Gong Haiyan x Jiang Qinghe

Ancient myths say that the rainbow after the rain is a bridge connecting the human world and the heavenly realm, and that one can reach the heavens by crossing it. Today, people often see the rainbow as a symbol of homosexuality. Perhaps it is because of its curved shape, or perhaps because of its many colors, as if to say that love should not be monotonous, but rich, diverse, and brilliant. And so the rainbow has come to represent same-sex love.

But right now, we stand together on this rainbow bridge, about to walk toward heaven and happiness. I hope you will go with me, because at the other end of the rainbow is the happy nest we will build together. Without you, even if that place were heaven, to me it would be no different from a living hell.
