Synopsis:
[Angst and heartbreak + everyone gets their comeuppance + tragic beauty + The Grave Robbers' Chronicles fanfiction] It’s actually kind of a sweet little story, too.
Xiao Ge and Hei Xiazi found me in a tomb. I had amnesia, an eating disorder, and an awful fear of pain.
They called me Little Peach because I was always smiling, my pink eyes sparkling. Even with a broken rib, I’d comfort them first: “It doesn’t hurt. Really.”
Whenever I got hurt on a tomb expedition, I’d turn into a little white fox and hide away to lick my wounds, but they always found me. Xiao Ge made me copy calligraphy as punishment, while Hei Xiazi secretly slipped me candy.
I thought they’d cherish me like that forever.
Until I lost my right eye protecting Wu Xie, and a broken bone pierced my lung as I saved Pangzi… They shouted at me, eyes red: “You useless little thing! Could you try valuing your own life for once?”
I did.
But I valued theirs more.
At last, the bronze gate opened, and the ghost soldiers crossed over.
I turned back and gave everyone one final smile. “This time, it doesn’t hurt.”
My long hair turned white, strand by strand, and my body dissolved into an endless glow.
Later, the little fox was gone from the world.
All that remained, deep in the snowy mountains of Medog, was a wordless gravestone, fresh peaches left before it every day, and… candy that could never be given again.
[Warning: Not for the faint of heart! Little Peach is everyone’s beloved. Every blow is lethal, so don’t blame me if you cry your eyes out!]
Very beautiful, love to watch, looking forward to big updates 💕💕💕
