Unrequited Love Is a Sweet-and-Sour Candy

(An overlooked, innocent female lead × her childhood friend, a second male lead who guides her)

(A sunny, cheerful male lead × a lively, adorable second female lead)

They're both such lovely couples. A childhood friend can outmatch the one who appears out of nowhere.

Falling for someone feels like running a program that's already been written: beyond your control, yet something you accept willingly.

That instant when your heart skips a beat: is it the sweetness of youth, or the beginning of a long, bitter ache? I can't say.

I only know that for six whole years, my eyes have always followed you: the bright curve of your smile, the breeze you stir up when you run, and my heart descending into chaos when you glance my way without a second thought.

Maybe you sensed it, just a little. Maybe you never noticed at all.

It doesn't matter.

This silent love, belonging to me alone, was destined from the start to end a certain way.

Only later did I understand that when someone is truly right for me, I never have to run after him with all my might.

He'll simply wait quietly, somewhere I can see, until I turn around.
