Lai Xi, the owner of a small restaurant in an urban village, struggles at the bottom of society as her business faces closure. By chance, she discovers that her cooking can change diners' destinies through food delivery, and her restaurant becomes an overnight sensation. But this brings trouble: mysterious men in black warn her that she has upset the "balance of fortune." Villainous forces, acting in their own interests, try to steal her ability or stop her from using it. With the System's help, Lai Xi receives timed missions to resolve crises of fortune, but at first her abilities are too weak, and she often feels overwhelmed by complicated situations. Meanwhile, an opportunist shifts between the different sides for personal gain and may even betray her, plunging her into a crisis of trust. The outside world badly misunderstands her, believing she is deliberately causing harm. If she cannot balance the forces of fortune in time, the world will face a crisis. In the end, Lai Xi succeeds in resolving it, but may have to bid farewell to her once-ordinary life.
