The Workplace Cinderella Has a Top-Tier Star Championing Her

Su Xiao is the most ordinary employee in her office building. She works diligently, but her outstanding abilities make her a thorn in the side of Director Lin Man, who constantly gives her a hard time. By chance, she meets Lu Yan, an Olympic table tennis champion. Her connection to him earns her the hatred of Bai Ruoxi, a rich heiress, who orders her anti-fans, the “Chasers of Light,” to launch an online harassment campaign, accusing her of “climbing the social ladder” and “being desperate for fame.” Workplace bullying, online abuse, and public skepticism come one after another. At first, Su Xiao doubts herself, but gradually comes to understand that kindness is not weakness, and being ordinary does not mean you can be pushed around. Lu Yan sees her vulnerability and quietly shields her from the storm, teaching her to fight back. In the end, Su Xiao uses her abilities to deliver a face-slapping comeback against Lin Man and gathers evidence exposing Bai Ruoxi and the anti-fans’ conspiracy, clearing her name online. She not only makes a triumphant comeback at work, but also finds true love with Lu Yan and becomes her own guiding light.
