The Grim Reaper Boss Is Always Scrounging Meals at My House

I, Shen Qingci, have been able to see spirits since birth, but my gentle nature means they’re always bothering me. Even the old house I rent has become a “gathering place for spirits.” Then one day, Lu Zeyuan appears out of nowhere. He’s notorious among the underworld’s spirit wardens for his ruthless cruelty, yet he refuses to leave my home, saying, “Your cooking smells better than Granny Meng’s soup in the underworld.”

A troublesome spirit tries to bully me? Lu Zeyuan raises a hand and scatters it into nothing. My snobbish relatives call my ability to see spirits “an ill omen” and try to take my house? He helps me produce the evidence to humiliate them. Someone in my line of work resents how peacefully I live and tries to sabotage me? He cuts off their “source of spirit sightings.”

It turns out this cold-faced spirit warden has been protecting me in secret for a long time.
