You Dare Judge Qi Tongwei in the Name of the People? I'll Slap You with a Huaxia Medal

[Monkey business + plot twists + ensemble cast + Lu Yike gets a defense]

At the Lone Eagle Ridge, Qi Tongwei didn't die.

After twenty years undercover, he remembered why he had started. It was time for Handong to see a change in power.

Qi Tongwei: Forget it, forget it. If that rotten old Heaven won't take me after making such a mess of things, then bring it on! Open the trial, close the net!

Hou Liangping: Want to die? You'll have to wait until after you're tried and convicted! If I don't dig up more dirt on you and uncover other leads, my credit will take a serious hit!

Liang Qunfeng: Oh no, he's coming for me! My reputation's ruined! Son-in-law, spare me!

Zhao Lichun: So you were the mastermind behind my downfall! Ruilong, you really are a terrible judge of character!

Sha Ruijin: You scared the hell out of me! Good thing nobody died, or my career would be over! This is perfect: a living witness, evidence, and a confession. We've got everything we need for a model anti-corruption case!

Gao Yuliang: Why didn't you shoot him dead?! Tongwei, you've always been my best student, truly. Take the fall for your teacher, and I'll give you a potted plant...

Li Dakang: Good thing he's alive. It's not like anything can stick to me anyway. Hurry up and question him. Better yet, get him to implicate Gao Yuliang!

Chen Yanshi: Did you hurt my son? Who else could it have been but you!

Tian Guofu: Awei, I failed to recognize a great man before. I swear I won't stop you from “joining the central government” next time!

Gao Xiaoqin: If you're alive, they'll recover the stolen money. What will happen to the children then...? Where's Hou Liangping? I want to blow the whistle!

Zhao Ruilong: What? Brother Wei, are you saying you're tougher than everyone above put together?
