While other otakus spend their daily lives watching TV shows and playing games, Ling Mo's daily routine is to "rule life the way a otaku does": he relies on his self-taught hacking skills to automatically pay utility bills, develops a simple robot to help him pick up express delivery, and even transforms his balcony into a fully automatic planting area. It wasn't until he stayed up late to clear the game that he awakened the ability to "resonate with the virtual world" - he could enter a copy of the game to obtain supplies that could be used in real life, and he could "borrow" skills from anime to solve real-life problems. Originally he only wanted to use this ability to upgrade his "home system", but he was unexpectedly involved in a "virtual data leakage crisis". In order to preserve the "home paradise" that he relied on for survival, Ling Mo had to bite the bullet and walk out of the house, using his own unique "home god" method to find a shocking path between reality and virtuality.
