[Coercive possession + minister's wife + non-virgin heroine + angsty melodrama + groveling pursuit]
Five years ago, when Hua Qingtang was about to marry her childhood sweetheart, the crown prince, he was deposed and exiled.
Hua Qingtang spent five years longing for him, never realizing that he had hated her for just as long.
All because she was about to marry someone else, and had gradually fallen in love with her elder brother-in-law.
From then on...
Whenever Hua Qingtang married into a family, Zhu Cheng had that family destroyed!
Until no one in the entire capital dared to marry her!
Driven to the brink by the crown prince, Hua Qingtang broke off all ties with him.
The humiliating words came through gritted teeth: "Would you be satisfied if I got down on the ground like a dog and begged you to forgive me?"
So Hua Qingtang faked her death.
She married at the border, had a child, and built a happy life.
Unaware that the crown prince in the capital had gone mad and turned white-haired overnight.

When Zhu Cheng became emperor, he issued three imperial edicts in a row.
First, Hua Qingtang was to divorce her elder brother-in-law.
Second, the child in her womb was to be aborted.
Third, an edict named her empress.
In the palace, the night shadows flickered as the emperor held the woman tight, his voice fierce:
"We're a scoundrel and a wicked woman. We're meant to be entangled for all eternity!"

Only on his deathbed did Zhu Cheng understand that all he wanted was for Hua Qingtang to look back at him once.
They had exchanged vows as husband and wife, and promised never to doubt their love.
They had loved each other deeply in their youth, but in the end they were left in a struggle to the death.
Zhu Cheng made a vow before the Buddha, only to see blood and tears on the Bodhisattva's face as it whispered:
"Hatred is your bone, love is your blood. You and she will be entangled, life after life, without end."
Nice!!! The plot is really exciting, and I felt a bit abusive towards the heroine in the early stages.
Well written, keep it up
