On an "Echo Island" surrounded by thick fog all year round, all residents share a carefully maintained collective memory. Lin Mo is a "memory restorer" on the island, whose duty is to repair those memory fragments that have been worn away by time. However, an unexpected "repair" allowed him to glimpse an illusion that was not part of the collective memory - the face of a strange woman and a forgotten love. This fatal "program error" made him question the reality of the world. In order to recover his deprived past, Lin Mo embarked on a dangerous path, confronting the omnipresent will of the island and the mysterious island leader who tried to bring everything back to "on track." He will salvage his own island in the deep sea of oblivion.
