In modern metropolises, an increasing number of 'imaginary' events (visual phenomena, paradoxes and urban legends that cannot be explained by existing scientific explanations) have quietly appeared, triggering individual mental fission and a crisis of social belief. Several people with different personalities and backgrounds witnessed or were involved in brain hole incidents due to different opportunities. They gradually intertwined in the pursuit of the truth and discovered that there is a huge power behind the "brain holes" that controls everything. It not only represents evolution and new opportunities, but also lurks in the complete subversion of reality. Through a series of progressive urban visions and investigations with multiple parallel story lines, the story restores 'why the city has become different', and explores the fragility and tenacity of human nature, the boundaries of rationality and moral temptation, and ultimately the choice between illusion and reality.
