Love Apartment: The Monsters Are Here

Tang Hu is really a pure-white tiger, an outstanding graduate of Monster University. Dreaming of the big city (and pretty tigress girls), he heads to the Magic City. But unfamiliar with the place, he gets lost right away, then somehow ends up helping a “heroine” (Hu Yifei) chase off the street thugs harassing her.

To thank him, this powerhouse of a heroine warmly invites him to a “completely normal” wedding. Thus, Tang Hu innocently stumbles into the marvelous place called Love Apartment, where he meets:

· Lu Ziqiao, who never gives up despite constantly striking out when hitting on girls;

· Meijia, who learned math from her PE teacher;

· Zeng Xiaoxian (Chen He), who lives to roast everyone;

· And Guangu, a manga artist from abroad, along with the genius girl Wanyu...

Just as Tang Hu is getting all mixed up by his human roommates and gradually settling into their chaotic lives, an even bigger “problem” comes knocking. Zhao Lusi, the beautiful household registration officer from the Animal Management Bureau (who is really a white fox), shows up and solemnly informs him, “Hello! How about applying for a temporary monster residence permit? You’ll be fined if you miss the deadline!”

Looking to save on rent (and keep an eye on him), Officer Zhao spots an empty room in Tang Hu’s apartment and gets an idea. “Looks like you’ve got a vacancy. Why don’t we share the place? We can tell everyone we’re a couple. That’ll make it easier for me to ‘keep you close’ while I handle your paperwork!”

From then on, the stories of Love Apartment 3601 and 3602 include a white tiger trying hard to hide his identity and adjust to human life, and a white fox abusing her authority (?) to slack off.
