Has Sir Won Over the Little Flower Sprite Today?

Sir, your little flower spirit is throwing a tantrum again! Can you believe it? Yun Zhuo, a peony spirit who has only just taken human form, was picked up by the aloof and ethereal Yan Zhixuan and brought back to his mountain residence! She thought he would make her memorize books and practice calligraphy every day, but this refined, immortal-looking gentleman is more quietly indulgent toward spirits than anyone! Her spirit is unstable? He finds a warm jade-and-marowstone bracelet, its warmth traveling from her wrist straight to her heart. She keeps writing the character “Xuan” crookedly? He leans over and uses his spiritual sense to guide her wrist, the crisp scent of bamboo mingling with his gentle instructions until even her spirit feels warm. She secretly draws a tiny smiling face beside his name, and in return, she finds a portrait he drew of himself in profile, giving a slight nod! But he insists on acting distant. As soon as the lesson ends, he returns to his seat and reads ancient texts, as if the tenderness from a moment ago had all been her imagination. Until one day, Yun Zhuo deliberately writes “Yan Zhixuan” in a wild, crooked scrawl and refuses to practice out of spite. The next day, she finds a piece of candy infused with spiritual power beneath the inkstone. It’s the very human-world sweet she casually mentioned the day before! She holds the candy and sneaks a glance at her teacher. When she sees the tips of his ears turn faintly red as he lowers his eyes, she suddenly understands: all the aloof gentleman’s tenderness is hidden in the scent of ink and the little details. Today’s question: How will Mr. Yan coax his peony spirit out of her latest little tantrum?
