In a city with highly developed technology and overflowing information, various strange "brain hole" phenomena have begun to appear frequently - misplaced identities, intertwining reality and reality, memory interleaving, and empathy... Five urbanites with seemingly parallel life trajectories gradually intersect due to the surreal events they encountered, and are involved in a huge puzzle related to human bottom cognition, social operation and technological ethics. Under the pressure of harsh reality, they experienced family rifts, emotional struggles, career conflicts, self-salvation and social opposition. Each story line unfolds independently, but is also implicated in each other at key nodes, and finally converges in the exposure of the urban core experiment, and everyone's destiny is completely changed - is it collapse or rebirth?
