I don't want wealthy-family stories or some kind of golden finger. I want something grounded in real life, unforgettable, and well written. The plot shouldn't move too fast, but it should be vivid and engaging, with an original storyline. Could some lovely fairy please grace me with a recommendation? I'm seriously out of things to read.
