Only on her deathbed did Song Qian, the Great Jin Kingdom’s foremost female general, learn that she was living inside a novel.
She was a cannon-fodder female supporting character, the male lead’s early, ill-fated first love. Her three younger brothers were major villains and devoted simps for the heroine.
Eldest brother: A celebrated young general, he rebelled for the heroine and was pierced by ten thousand arrows.
Second brother: A brilliant young chief councilor, he was exiled to Lingnan for opposing the male lead.
Third brother: A marquis’s heir and business genius, he gave away his entire fortune for the heroine and ended up a beggar.
Song Qian was so furious she came back to life.
But she was reborn five years later, at the story’s climax, just as her brothers were groveling over the heroine.
To save them, Song Qian decided to step in herself.
A green-tea schemer? She’d take her on headfirst!
A love-struck fool? She’d knock some sense into him!
A fiancé? Scumbag, get lost!
Everyone in the capital knew that after Song Qian returned, the three madmen of the powerful Song family finally behaved themselves.
But the aloof crown prince, as pure and chaste as jade after twenty years without a wife, seemed to be acting strangely.
At first, Song Qian laughed that Gu Yanshu was a thousand-year-old tree that would never bloom.
Only later did she learn that someone had waited for her across two lifetimes.
[Vibrant, Irresistible Heroine × Aloof, High-and-Mighty Hero Who Descends to the Mortal World]
Each character has a distinct personality, flesh and blood, and a soul. I don't know why the author ended it in a hurry, but this is a very good work. I look forward to the author's second work.
