From the Start, I Found a Death Note: I'm Crazier Than Light Yagami

“If the law is powerless, if justice never comes, would you be willing to carry out the sentence yourself?”

Chen Mo, an ordinary office worker, had watched countless criminals escape justice. Then, in the depths of his despair, he received an anonymous package from the Grim Reaper: a “Death Note” that could control life and death. Under the amused gaze of the eerie god of death, Liu Ke, he tremblingly wrote down the first name.

From then on, a mysterious judge calling himself the “Executioner” quietly emerged. Corrupt officials died of inexplicable heart failure. A rich heir who had escaped the law took his own life in front of a crowd, confessing his crimes. A business tycoon who had orchestrated a web of corruption vanished from a perfectly sealed room... One by one, bizarre cases worthy of being called “divine punishment” unfolded, with deaths as artful as they were chilling, striking the scum beyond the reach of the law.

The internet erupted. The public hailed him as an “avatar of justice” who punished the wicked and celebrated the dawn of a new era. The police and authorities, however, saw him as an “extremist terrorist” who threatened public order and abused extralegal punishment. They formed a special task force codenamed “Godhunter,” led by a brilliant detective with a keen instinct, and laid an inescapable net to flush him out.
