It is not a traditional nuclear war or zombie crisis, but an explosion of mysterious energy (tentatively named "psionic energy") from deep underground, causing large-scale paralysis of electronic equipment around the world. At the same time, the earth's crust violently changes, and cities are reduced to ruins. What's even more frightening is that psionic energy has changed the genes of some creatures and humans, giving birth to all kinds of terrifying mutant beasts and "crazy people" who have lost their minds.
