Records of Mountains and Seas: Strange Beasts Awaken

Fed up with city life, I retreated deep into the mountains. I never expected the wild rabbit I casually injured to speak: “You have the scent of the Classic of Mountains and Seas!” It led me to a cave whose walls were covered in ancient, glowing runes. The moment I touched them, memories of countless mythical beasts from antiquity flooded my mind. The rabbit suddenly transformed into Bai Ze. “The seal has broken. You are the last of the lineage of Keepers of the Classic.” A chorus of beastly cries sounded in the distance, and the entire mountain began to tremble. A swirling map of the Classic of Mountains and Seas appeared in my palm. “So, that treacherous beast’s core from just now belongs to me now, right?”
