Turning the Tables Beneath the Black Fog

In a modern city, the Nethershadow Investigations team takes on all kinds of mysterious cases. Its members each have their own special skills, and their investigations take them from society’s lowest reaches to the highest levels of politics and business, as well as into the dark web and the real world. As they solve one case after another, they gradually uncover a complex conspiracy spanning ten years. Multiple storylines unfold: each team member has a hidden mission and their own trauma, while outside cases become intertwined with their fates. The pursuit of justice and truth runs alongside their search for personal redemption. Each volume features a standalone investigation, while the main case gradually comes into view, eventually pointing to a powerful mastermind. The entire team is pushed to the brink of life and death, and trust and betrayal continually reshape the group. In the end, the truth leads them to a finale that is both triumphant and bleak.
