[Mostly rule-based horror, though other elements may develop later. Told from the bottom's perspective; he likes to play dumb while hiding his true abilities.]
Rule-based horror? Lin Yuan knows it well.
The core of the Hehuan Sect's cultivation method is basically one giant “emotional rule-based horror scenario.”
So when he encounters the “Fusheng” System, he adapts just fine.
He can even complain about loopholes in the rules while using seduction to extract clues, and exploit bugs with illusions to farm points.
The monstrous NPCs file complaints one after another: “Organizers! Someone's cheating!”
The System is powerless: “Insufficient permissions. Unable to take action...”
Lin Yuan smiles sweetly. “Next, it's my turn to make the rules.”
