This work tells the story of Xie Zhi, a cold-blooded Buddhist who doesn't like the fireworks of the world. After an unexpected encounter with Luo Zhaozhao, a passionate daughter-in-law from southern Xinjiang, he breaks the precepts for him. From restraint to loss of control, it eventually evolves into a taboo and fierce "captive" love. In the early stage of the plot, the temple's Zen room is the centerpiece, depicting the tension-filled confinement and resistance between the two. In the middle stage, the political conspiracy in the capital and southern Xinjiang is introduced, closely linking the fate of the two to their family, country, and the world. In the later stage, Xie Zhi gives up his identity as a Buddhist disciple for love, joins hands with Luo Zhaozhao to join the world, overcomes all difficulties in the turbulent court struggle, and finally gets a life-long story. The highlight lies in the fierce collision between the extreme sense of taboo, Fuzi's crazy paranoia after breaking the vow, and the heroine's tenacious and unyielding spirit of resistance.
