The Chronicle of Heaven's End and the World's Salvation

In ancient times, the world consisted of the Human Realm, the Immortal Realm, and the underground world. The Human Realm's population had dwindled due to frequent natural disasters. At this critical juncture, Yun Ji, a wise and farsighted immortal, could not bear to watch the people suffer, yet could not directly interfere in the affairs of the Human Realm. So he secretly organized the Life-Saving Hall and joined forces with Ye Minghe, a traitor from the world at the planet's core, hoping to steal the supreme cultivation manual passed down since ancient times, the Heavenly Severance Record, during an Immortal Realm celebration. He planned to take it to the mortal world and train promising candidates to cultivate the manual in the future. Legend had it that cultivating this technique to perfection could defy fate, eliminate calamities, and save all living beings.
