Eternal Starlight in the City of Mist

Lin Wanxing, a Chinese woman, and her British husband, Elias, build a multicultural family in London and raise two daughters, Elena and Lillian. They weave Chinese traditions into everyday life, from lanterns for Lunar New Year and scented pouches for Qixi to introducing the girls to the Chinese language. They also often take the children to China to experience their cultural roots. Elena, the older sister, becomes a “little Chinese teacher,” sharing stories about China at school, while Lillian follows in her footsteps and grows close to traditional culture. With love as their guide, the couple fills their London home with family warmth and the gentle blending of Chinese and Western cultures, writing a story of ordinary yet enduring happiness.
