Top memory diver Chen Mo, a technical elite who lost some key memories due to an "accident", salvages memory fragments for clients day after day, but is still unable to illuminate the blank space in his heart. Until the mysterious client Su Lin appears, she is persistently looking for a childhood memory that "does not exist" in all records - about a legendary "Glass Flower House".
Chen Mo, who initially thought it was just a confused memory, soon discovered that things were far from that simple. The two encounter numerous obstacles in their investigation and discover that a powerful force is systematically erasing certain memories. They gradually uncovered the truth behind the "Memory Deep Submersible System" called the "Pure World Project": a huge project that shapes social cognition, calms conflicts, and even "erases" unnecessary historical fragments to achieve "stability" by accurately editing group memories.
The "glass flower house" is related to a history of early technological experiments that was deliberately erased and may have caused social unrest. It is also accidentally connected to Chen Mo's own lost memory.
