Decisive and ruthless + invincible + calculating + playing the pig to eat the tiger + the whole family is full of schemers... The Lingxiao Imperial Clan rules an entire realm, yet harbors a secret: every member of the clan is a master schemer. The clan leader plots from behind the scenes, the ancestors pretend to be weak, and every family member is an expert at laying traps and finishing off their enemies. The imperial heir Ling Xuan awakened a Primordial Chaos Body at birth, along with the Primordial Chaos Time-Space Tower. He can cultivate the divine, demonic, and Buddhist paths, but inherited his family's cautious way of life and excels at playing the pig to eat the tiger.
Ling Xuan takes the tower on a journey through the four realms and assembles the “Chaos Star Squad”: Ji Shengtian, with his Ancient Demon Sacred Body, leads the charge; Monk Bujie provides the verbal support; and the Great Ancestor Dragon, a big black dog, finds treasures and makes quick getaways. From the mortal realm to the divine and demonic realms, the four stir up trouble and trip up their enemies, growing stronger with every laugh.
A cataclysmic crisis strikes. Dark Soul Beasts trigger a minor calamity, while the Dark Destruction Beast of the divine and demonic realms prepares to unleash the ultimate tribulation. With the support of his team and his scheming clan, Ling Xuan joins the fight using “cautious tactics,” brings the four realms into an alliance, and ventures deep into the Demon Abyss to uncover the truth. In the end, he fuses the energy of the three paths with his power of Primordial Chaos and leads the allied forces to defeat the Dark Destruction Beast, ushering in a new era. The legends of the squad and the imperial clan's schemers spread across all four realms.
