A modern city hides layers of mysteries. Five young people with different personalities gathered together due to their own obsessions and dreams to form the folk suspense reasoning team "Black Face Mystery". They independently investigate difficult cases that the authorities find difficult or unwilling to touch. Behind each case not only hides the injustice of society and the darkness of human nature, but also involves the growth and secrets of the team members, driving them to continue to grow, fission and reshape amidst mutual trust and questioning. As the case becomes more complicated and confusing, the team is gradually involved in a deeper vortex of conspiracy. The relationship and trust between the members are repeatedly tested, until they finally face the ultimate choice of truth and self-salvation.
