Gods Across the Globe: My Matchmaking Red String Broke the Multiverse

Situ Jianxin is a happy homebody whose dream is to coast through life doing nothing. His greatest surprise is when food delivery arrives five minutes early. Then he accidentally finds a beat-up wooden plaque and awakens the chaotic divine power containing the essence of Yuanshi Tianzun, the supreme Eastern deity. Though it only works now and then, it keeps going haywire and turning into Yue Lao's red-thread matchmaking power.

Soon, he is captured by the mysterious organization Lingxi Society and forced to carry out the "Red Thread Project," using his unreliable ability to "reform" all manner of dangerous big shots.

He thinks it's just a bizarre job, but during a mission at a bar, his out-of-control red thread suddenly slips loose and binds Ares, the savage Western God of War, to the Eastern goddess Jiutian Xuannv as a couple!

One tug, and heaven and earth are turned upside down! A conflict that had been brewing for ten thousand years between the Eastern and Western divine realms ignites in an instant. Immortal arts clash with divine magic, Heaven collides with Olympus, and the mortal world becomes a brutal battleground for the gods!

Just as Situ Jianxin thinks he has brought about an apocalyptic disaster, Ares puts an arm around Xuannv amid the smoke and sneers at him:

"Thanks to your clumsy trick, we've finally got the perfect excuse to start a war."

"After all, only the energy from a bloody war among the gods can feed that sleeping... 'Void Devourer.'"

Only then does Situ Jianxin realize that this entire divine war is a blood-soaked feast offered to an even more terrifying being!

And he, a homebody with his master asleep inside him, the fates of countless realms tied to his hands, and endless troubles (romantic entanglements) brought by his red threads, has no choice but to shoulder the burden of saving the world.

But why does this method... always involve tying people together with red threads?!
