The protagonist is the "Paper Maker", a paper maker and a paper horse who are psychic and used for combat, exploration and assistance. Set it up by cutting paper into a soldier, and give it a soul (or aura) to move. The protagonist is extremely skilled and can even poke out ancient mythical beasts. The main line is to improve the paper-making skills, uncover the connection between the "paper-making lineage" and the "netherworld", and deal with the crisis of blurred boundaries between yin and yang.
