Prince of Tennis: Oh My Goodness! I’ve Become Tezuka Kunimitsu

Su Xixi, an ordinary college student, accidentally transmigrates into Tezuka Kunimitsu after staying up late to watch Prince of Tennis and getting hit in the face by her phone. She’s just started at Seigaku and is about to take over as captain of the tennis club.

From then on, her daily life becomes a balancing act: keeping up an “icy” persona while hiding all her snark. She pinches her voice to imitate Tezuka saying, “Don’t let your guard down,” and gives herself goosebumps. Her hands shake like she has Parkinson’s when she grips a racket. When Fuji offers her wasabi sushi, she has to force it down while screaming inside, “This is worse than defending my thesis.” To keep up her act, she crams tennis knowledge by treating the original story as a “survival guide,” but her habits as a girl keep slipping out. She organizes her locker like a storage display, prompting Kikumaru to tease her for being “such a good homemaker.” Ryoma catches her looking tenderly at a stray cat. After winning a match, she almost suggests celebrating with milk tea, but manages to choke out, “Let’s keep working hard.”

At first, she gives up and waits to go back, but Seigaku’s passion for tennis and their determination to fight for honor move her. She uses her thoughtful nature to smooth over disputes: slipping apology notes to the arguing Momoshiro and Ryoma, and helping everyone avoid Inui’s special drinks. With “plot foresight and instinctive play,” she leads Seigaku through the district and Kanto tournaments, struggling to uphold her image as “the pillar of Seigaku.” Her hilarious mishaps never stop: she twists her ankle but worries about her fake nails first, nearly gives herself away in an interview, and gets caught hiding to eat spicy snacks by Fuji.

In the end, Su Xixi’s Tezuka leads Seigaku to the national championship and becomes the tennis world’s “gap-moe captain.” Standing on Seigaku’s tennis court at graduation, she finally realizes that she has already turned Tezuka Kunimitsu’s life into her most precious memory.
