The Sword Falls Across Myriad Worlds

I am a sword cultivator. I make my body a sword, forge its edge with my soul, and stake my life against the heavens.

I worship neither gods nor Buddhas, heed neither fate nor heaven's decree, kneel to no tyrant, and believe in no cycle of reincarnation.

Of the three thousand Great Ways in the world, I keep to only one sword.

Though the heavens press down upon me and countless calamities befall me,

I will wield the three-foot blade in my hand to cut through illusion, shatter fate, and turn the universe around.
