Ji Huan died, but then she came back.
Her life had already been a mess, and desperate to make money and improve her family’s lives, she was tricked out of more than 400,000 yuan in a pig-butchering scam. She kept it from her husband, children, and parents, and the pressure became too much. She developed severe depression.
Every day, Ji Huan went to the police station to ask about the case.
A year passed without a single development. Unable to bear the pressure any longer, she went back once more, got nowhere, and jumped from the roof.
When Ji Huan opened her eyes again, she was in the old house where she had lived before getting married. Looking at the calendar on the wall, she realized she had been reborn, back in 2002, on the day her parents had arranged her engagement.
Remembering the life she had lived before, Ji Huan made a decisive escape. There would be no arranged engagement.
In this life, she would marry someone she loved who loved her back. Otherwise, she would never get married!
Forced by circumstances, Ji Huan had started learning about the beauty industry in her thirties in her previous life. She had mastered beauty treatments, wellness, manicures, eyelash extensions, makeup, and permanent cosmetics, becoming a versatile beauty professional.
Wouldn’t all those skills come in handy in this life?
With the money she had saved from working over the past two years, Ji Huan rented a small shop and set out to make money! In just two years, she opened a large beauty salon and a training center.
But she’s still single!
Gu Shiyuan: “Ji Huan, you don’t remember me...”
Gu Shiyuan: “Ji Huan, you have no heart...”
Gu Shiyuan: “Ji Huan, feel my heartbeat. It beats for you...”
Ji Huan: “...”
