[No saintly protagonist | Red Alert System | War]
When Ling Han wakes up, he finds that he has transmigrated into the apocalypse. In a world overrun by zombies and mutant monsters, he activates the “War Empire System.” He starts with an axe, and has to borrow his starting resources. But it soon becomes clear that this System is no ordinary one: it can produce troops, upgrade the tech tree, and even unlock starships!
While other survivors are fighting over a single piece of bread, Ling Han has already built steel walls. As various factions battle for territory, his army is crushing its way through the ruins. But when unknown threats such as genetically modified monsters emerge, Ling Han realizes that this wasteland is far more dangerous than he imagined...
A disclaimer first: this isn't 100% Red Alert. It borrows units from Red Alert, with some changes.
The really exciting plot probably begins after the protagonist leaves the base, so I hope readers will stick with it until then.
