Love in the Shadow of Debt

Ai Wei, a former co-founder of a fintech company, is betrayed by her ex-boyfriend Huang Qiang, saddled with 15 million in debt, and branded a credit defaulter. Under immense pressure as her repayment deadline approaches, she draws on her financial modeling and AI algorithm skills to develop a “Small Business Loan Risk Prediction Model” and attempt a comeback. To stop her, Huang Qiang spreads rumors that she stole the technology and repeatedly sabotages her business with underhanded tactics. Ai Wei faces a dilemma: accept the harsh “repay the debt with technology” terms offered by Lu Shang Chunqiu, president of Lu Capital, and clear her debts quickly, or uphold her principles and remain technologically independent. As she works with Lu Shang Chunqiu, the two go from bickering frenemies, fiercely arguing over how to settle her debt, to growing side by side. But Huang Qiang's interference soon sparks a crisis of trust. In the end, they join forces to expose Huang Qiang's conspiracy, and Ai Wei pays off her debt, finding success in both her career and love life.
