I Hunt Corpses in Uncle Jiu's World

[Ding! Congratulations, you have acquired a plot of corpse-nurturing land (beginner level), which can be summoned at any time!] [Ding! Basic corpse-driving techniques are being downloaded!] [Ding! First mission: escort client “Zhang Dadan” back to his hometown!]

Other corpse drivers toil across the land just to deliver the dead for burial. Looking at the patch of black earth wreathed in dark energy in the System’s storage space, Lin Feng has a bold idea: Other people bury corpses, but... why can’t I raise them?

With a bell in hand, he sets off. Night brings terror, and vengeful spirits in the mass graveyard come to claim his life. Outside Renjia Town, he first hears the name Uncle Jiu. The one-browed Taoist fixes him with a piercing gaze. “Young friend, why does the baleful energy around you linger instead of dispersing?”

From then on, Lin Feng carefully develops his abilities under Uncle Jiu’s watchful eye, transporting corpses, eliminating demons, fighting zombies, accumulating merit, and improving his corpse-refining techniques. He plants corpses in corpse-nurturing land and controls them with his refining arts. Before long, he commands a host of corpse hounds, corpse generals, and even entire corpse armies!

He takes part in the upheaval surrounding the relocation of Old Master Ren’s grave, changing the fates of characters from the original story. He travels through western Hunan and delves into Miaojiang gu poison arts, the Flowerfall Cave Maiden, and the secrets of shamanic rites. He refines copper-armored corpses and forges silver corpses, earning the title “Ghost Taoist Lin,” and faces off against or joins forces with disciples from Maoshan and Longhu Mountain.

At last, amid clashes of Taoist arts and battles between good and evil, he fights sinister powers such as Shi Jian and refines golden-armored Corpse Kings and flying Yakshas! His corpse-nurturing land advances into a blessed realm, revealing the origins of the System and the truth of the world.
