Love on Set

Sis, do you still remember that chubby boy?

Back then, you said, “He’s such a cute little boy, with eyes as vast as the stars and sea. Su Man, how can you call him a little fatty?”

Su Man said, “Because he’s fat!”

Lin Wei said, “He’s not fat at all. He’s strong! You’re a terrible judge of character, sis. Little bro, stop calling her your sister. Find yourself another one and call me your sister instead.”

Su Man said, “Lin Wei, I asked you to tutor me, not steal my little brother!”

Lin Wei watched her stamp her feet and teased her on purpose. “Exactly. I’ve got my eye on your little brother.” She turned to Chen Mo. “My dream is to become a director. When I do, you can be my leading man, okay?” As she spoke, her eyes swept over the little boy.

Chen Mo, who had been silent all along, blushed bright pink and softly answered, “Okay!”

Many years later.

Lin Wei said, “Su Man, did we set our budget too low? We’ve been looking for days and still haven’t found a leading man we like.”

Su Man curled her lips into a smile. “Don’t worry, Weiwei. In two days, I promise I’ll find you a leading man you’ll love.”

Lin Wei thought her best friend was just joking. She never imagined…

That two days later, a perfect specimen would really show up.

Lin Wei asked him, “Where did you find him?”

Su Man answered mysteriously, “I picked him up.”

Lin Wei said, “Where? Take me there…”
