Li Chuyi Breaks the Dao

I’m Li Chuyi, an eight-year-old good-for-nothing with five spiritual roots. When I claw my way out of the grave where I was buried alive, the jade pendant in my palm explodes, revealing a mysterious space where time flows at a ratio of 10:1.

The world laughs at my five muddled spiritual roots, saying I’ll never amount to anything? I’ll use these “worthless roots” to devour every kind of cultivation, then grind the Heavenly Spiritual Roots of my mockers into the dirt.

The sects condemn me, saying that blending demonic power with the Dao will bring heavenly retribution? Then I’ll cut my way through Blackwind Valley with demonic arts and use the bones of my pursuers to fill the grave they dug for me.

The Immortal Realm declares I’ll never ascend to godhood? Then I’ll cleave open the shattered domain, crush the heavenly tribulation, and carry the flames of primordial chaos to the highest divine throne.

From abandoned child buried in the earth to Lord of Chaos who commands the Three Realms:

Li Chuyi carves the rules in stone: so-called destiny is just something for me to crush underfoot.

His name will be a new beginning.
