A Brushstroke Matchmaking: Your Majesty, You Sent Your Calligraphy to the Wrong Person!

Lin Yanqiu, a modern-day calligraphy conservator, unexpectedly transmigrates into the Great Yong Dynasty as the neglected principal consort of the Prince of Zhenbei. An old dynasty’s “Conjoined Hearts Brush” connects her with the reigning emperor, Xiao Che, through ink and brush, beginning a strange bond as kindred spirits on paper. She uses modern knowledge to overcome obstacles within the prince’s household and help the emperor break through political deadlocks, while he stands up for her and puts an end to the criticism. Amid rumors that the emperor is stealing his subject’s wife and the Prince of Zhenbei’s attempts to win her back, their feelings for each other gradually become clear. In the end, they break free of the constraints of their status and use the brush as their matchmaker, composing a sweet romance together.
